Reading: Poet and Novelist, William Benton, who is in town teaching a poetry class at the International School will be reading from his work. Benton's novel "Madly" was praised by James Salter as "beautiful, intense and utterly absorbing". He is also a noted translator of Mallarmé and Pasternak. And we're looking to republish an early book, "Birds," a volume of concrete poetry that first appeared in 1972, in the coming year.
