Fourth (but nonetheless rare) edition of this survey of Karel Martens’ work as a designer. Initially conceived and published in 1996 (!), the book has been subsequently “extended” a few times, each time reaffirming the vitality of Martens’ accomplishment. Martens is a wonderful colorist with a great sense of materials who works at the edges of art & design. Additionally, his practice demonstrates a thought-provoking relationship to re-use and recycling. It’s hard to find a copy of this book, in any edition, for less than a few hundred dollars, so here's a good chance to get a copy affordably! We have 3 left.
